BET Honors was back for another star studded event on Saturday evening at the Warner Theater (513 13th St NW) to honor former attorney general Eric Holder, business guru Mellody Hobson, music legend Patti Labelle, film and television mogul Lee Daniels and music executive L.A. Reid.
D.C.’s who’s who packed the audience excited to see riveting performances and unforgettable special moments by Toni Braxton, Babyface, Usher, Monica, Eddie Levert, Fantasia, Jussie Smollett, The Deele and Raheem DeVaughn.
The show featured special appearances by Terrence Howard, Gabourey Sibide, Janelle Monae, Mack Wilds and Melissa Harris Perry.
Guests packed inside of the Smithsonian National Portrait Gallery once the show was over for the official after party where they partied until the wee hours of the morning with tunes by D.J. D-Nice and D.J. Mos.
